KL nightlife

on 10th of January 2009.. i had the privilege to go for a night shoot out in KL...therefore i try to get most of the activity of KL nightlife but the since i went there around midnight till 2 am..what i can say that there are not much activity going on in KL except for the clubs,bars and pubs....most of my shot are regarding KL architectural value....in other words...buildings....i try to explore some of the HDR skills but unfortunately....when i convert it to JPEG file..all the beautiful detail of the picture are all gone....this are some of the shot....u should also experience KL at night as its offers a whole new world to those who thought they know KL very well.....

on 26th of December...one of my dearest friends got married...saiful n aina..we went to his house in Meru Height Ipoh for their reception ceremony on 28th December...lots of people come...of course...its a reception ceremony...wearing brown colour...they really looks beautiful...it bright and sunny day...with all the crowd.i realize that ciput really have a lot of friends as he goes along..after all, he is a good man,great friends and will be a great husband...these are some of the memories.... other picture u can view them at my facebook

CODA

|
tonight I've been awarded a privilege to shoot my studiomate band CODA while they are performing at Lepaq Cafe in Hartamas. Its a refreshing shoot out as it is the first time i've involve in gig shooting...we all lepaks there until 3 am since they were asked to perform in to session...3 song at 12am and then they put an interval in the middle so that the crowd remain full...this band are famous man....I'm also amazed with their live performance and it really blew me off....all the 'segan' feeling of standing in front to snap pictures all gone...there are also other photographer snapping their respective band's but I'm proud to say that CODA really a great performer...

GENTINGs

a week after convocation...we went for a trip to genting...they do say that Genting..Kota keriangan...i guess it true when you go there with your friends...we have managed to ride 7 thrill rides and it is not a walk in the park...we are running on adrenaline every time we got on board all those rides....hahhahaha......despite all the fear and butterflies in the stomach...it made us cheer for whole day as we will face our respective job tomorrow....hahahahha.....this are some of the moments.....the others you can view them in my facebook...feel free to view...

at last...after all these years, I've already got my degree. all the hard work paid off...but then work after this will be a lot harder...but i still enjoy this particular moment where we graduates are celebrated throughout the day proving that we are appreciated....the pictures are very straight forward (its not me behind the lense) but then, thumbs up to my sis for doing a very good job...

these past few days...i've been observing n i find that my passion in photography is always thick...but my time in experimenting is very little....i also does not have friend that i could share my time in photohunting except for ciput...how shallow my exposure in photography world...i do have a lot of gadget but my creativity n my involvement in the photography community is very little....since i've start working, i realised that my time spent in photo are less n getting less...i do hope all i do is worth my sacrifice....maybe i do spent too much time at the office where i dont have friends...only officemate....since then i realise that my picture lack of soul....maybe one time i'll get that touch again and even better....i'll get the time exploring my passion... these are some of it.....

assalamualaikum...
this year raya, its been a short n not so cheerful raya...maybe because its the first time i've been celebrating raya on a working person status..so the excitement seeing my other cousins which is still studying make me miss the study world a lot..although its only 5 month i've left the learning period but i do miss them a lot...
the traditions of 'balik kampung' really embedded deep in our family tradition...but the excitement of balik kampung is wearing thin in time we grow older..maybe someday our kids will have that excitement while we are having headache thinking of budget and all other stuff relating to the balik kampung ritual...
when i balik kampung...i feel very sad thinking how different it was back then when i was still a kid...our kampung still have that kampung feeling with old wooden house on stilt has now changed into a brick concrete cottage...on what ground should kampung be like that....???less trees and more man made structure really stripping out the real feel of a kampung.....but what i really adore is the tradition of visiting others in my kampung that is still on going...i bet in other parts of malaysia, having starngers coming to our house asking for duit raya is a weird thing...hahaha....hope that this dying tradition will stay on in my lifetime...after that its our children and grandchildren responsibility to preserve it......i do have nothing to say anymore..just wanna upload my picture...do enjoy

just before raya celebration...me n my studio mate went for gathering at intai-intai restaurant in ampang.its for buka puasa. the place is nice..has a very serene environment with a forest backdrop..really nice. the organizer which is crow went through a lot of make this gathering a success.14 people involve and the food there was at first looks good..but then due to so many people holding the buka puasa with their group there, taking the food has kill the all good mood...people not queuing, tight space for circulation, not enough food, delay in rice top up. all this really kill the mood of the beautiful environment. to make things worst..the 'kerang' smells awful..but enough about the restaurant..the gathering of my studio mate is the enjoyment that we should be cherished n appreciated. after this there would be so little appreciation on the event like this. everybody doing their own things with their own agenda...hopefully this little memory wont faded in time...

International Fireworks Competition 2008 Finale

Last night, me, caman, ciput and his fiance, eyena went for shooting at Putrajaya. Yes, shooting the International fireworks Competition Finale. its been a while since we last shooting together. at last, the craving of pushing the snap button is fulfill for a while. we arrive a little late last night sine the traffic there is bad as usual. stuck in jams and crawling cars is anticipated. then after we found a spot viewing the bridge and PICC as background, we quickly setup our gear and wait for a while before its start. the bridge cable really obstructing the view making the picture ruin a bit. but overall composition is OK, as we were rushing and find the spot for shooting in an instant. but far from the crowd, the spot is really beautiful with Putrajaya city light as background. reminding me the city of Rotterdam where the night view is as lovely as Putrajaya. Really a great moment to remember as we grow up and more stuck in our day job, we seldom have time for hanging out with friends anymore. Although I'm using manual focus because my Nikon D40x doesn't have focus motor at the body and i'm using my old 28mm-200mm lense, but the pictures turn out great. These are my best shot. Hope to shoot another great events like this... hey, the Perarakan Merdeka is just a corner away...hope could wakeup early though...hahahahaha.......
